Frequently Asked Questions
Royalty-free music is music that can be used in content without paying royalties to the artists or rights holders each time it’s played. Instead, the user pays for the music once or on a recurring basis through a subscription to a royalty-free music service. This licensing model allows the user to use the track in many different projects without having to pay additional fees or ask for permission to synchronize it with a video.
Production music, also known as stock music or library music, is recorded music that is written and composed specifically for use in audio and audiovisual productions. It can be licensed for use in a variety of media, including film, television, radio, websites, online games, music on hold, and ringtones. Production music is often produced and owned by production music libraries.
